Like A Pair Of Jeans That Fit Just Right.

That is what school feels like for me. I know I've mentioned it before, but I am so happy I found this school and that I am following my passions and what makes me the happiest. I was talking to my mom a few days ago and she told me that brother (Dylan) was assigned a 20 page paper as a final in one of his classes. I literally can not even fathom having to write a paper that long. If I was assigned to write a paper that long I think I would become physically ill. While I do have finals here at school which consisted of 3 exams and 1 project that to me was nothing but a breeze. I have realized that taking exams to me nowadays is like eating a piece of cake: easy and possibly enjoyable. I truly believe this is because I'm finally being tested on things that I not only already know, but love so dearly. I've heard so many friends of mine complaining that they are taking all of these horrible general education classes that they absolutely hate. While I know that I will eventually have to take some general ed classes, because I am getting a bachelors degree up here, I love that during my first semester at this school all of my classes have been related to my major. It has made the transition so much easier and enjoyable.

I really wanted to write this post to share with you all my final project for illustration. My teacher assigned the class to make something anything in which the figure or part of the figure was used. I decided that I wanted to make something that I could actually use and out to practical use. I would easily say I am the queen of knick knacks. I tend to buy the most random little trinkets that really have no use, but I love them so much I absolutely have to have them. I therefore decided I would make a type of jewelry box looking item that I could fill with all my random finds and so here it is. I hope you love it as much as I do.

I hope everyone is doing well and is as excited as I am for the holidays. Peace & Love.
